I have to say, I am really feeling New York this time. It's the first time I've been here on foot, not in a passenger van, and the difference is huge. I should have brought better shoes, but whatever.

They threw quite a bash at the Crofoot. You could hear it as Mock Orange played to a sadly nearly empty room. Royal Oak is lame now, but it has little pockets of cool still hanging within the crevices of the condos that have mercilessly f*cked the skyline.
